GoreSorrow

Six Years Deep. Still Evolving. Still Finding New Sounds.

GoreSorrow is an Australian underground artist, producer, mixer, and founder of Twisted Collective, built from years of trial, reinvention, and raw creative obsession. His story starts before the name GoreSorrow, back when he released music as Cyru$, experimenting with drum and bass rap, emo grime, darker underground sounds, and anything that let him push emotion through heavy production.

Over time, that sound kept mutating.

What started as DnB and emo grime evolved into melodic underground rap, glitch-hop, hyperpop-influenced trap, screamo rap, punchline-heavy bangers, and airy melodic tracks that sit somewhere between pain, chaos, humour, and confidence. GoreSorrow does not make music to fit one genre. He builds worlds, breaks them apart, and turns the wreckage into something catchy.

Why You Should Listen

GoreSorrow’s catalogue is for listeners who like finding artists before the sound is fully understood by everyone else.

Some tracks hit like emotional late-night anthems.

Some tracks are grimy trap songs with punchlines that make you laugh and rewind.

Some tracks lean into glitchy, digital chaos.

Some tracks carry screamo energy.

Some tracks sound like a rapper trying to invent a new lane in real time.

That is the point.

GoreSorrow’s music rewards digging. His catalogue is full of different eras, styles, moods, and experiments, meaning there is a strong chance listeners will find something that catches them off guard. A track, hook, flow, or sound they did not expect to like.

The Story

After building music for years under different sounds and identities, GoreSorrow took a break between 2024 and 2025. When he returned, the focus was different. The sound was sharper. The vision was bigger.

He came back not only as an artist, but as someone building infrastructure around the scene. Through Twisted Collective, GoreSorrow began pushing artists, organising shows, supporting the AUS UDG movement, and helping create space for underground music to grow in Australia.

At the same time, his own artistry started levelling up fast. In a short period, his writing, delivery, sound selection, and confidence began sharpening noticeably. The comeback became proof that hard work compounds, and GoreSorrow is now moving like an artist who has found his direction without losing the hunger to experiment.

The Sound

Melodic Underground Rap:

Airy vocals, catchy hooks, emotional pockets, and melodies that bring replay value without losing edge.

Glitch-Hop & Hyperpop Rap:

Digital textures, distorted bounce, strange rhythms, and high-energy production that makes the music feel futuristic and unpredictable.

Punchline Trap:

Funny, grimy, sharp bars that hit with personality, idolise the trap-gangsta fantasy, and bring a playful but dangerous energy.

Screamo Rap Moments:

Raw vocal bursts that add intensity, emotion, and chaos when the track needs to explode.

DnB & Emo Grime Roots:

The early foundation that shaped GoreSorrow’s speed, rhythm, darker tone, and ability to attack beats from unusual angles.

A Catalogue Worth Searching Through

For new listeners, the best way to understand GoreSorrow is simple: search through the catalogue and find the version that hits you first.

There is the emotional GoreSorrow.

The chaotic GoreSorrow.

The melodic GoreSorrow.

The screamo GoreSorrow.

The DnB misfit.

The glitch-hop experimenter.

The punchline-heavy underground rapper.

The artist still building a genre around himself.

More Than an Artist

GoreSorrow also produces, mixes, and masters under DrxpDeadProd, giving him a deeper hand in the sound from start to finish. He is not only writing over beats. He is learning how to shape the atmosphere, polish the vocals, build the bounce, and refine the final product.

Recently, GoreSorrow has locked back in with Luxiifer, his producer from the Cyru$ era, reconnecting the past with the present to push toward a new lane: a GoreSorrow-driven blend of rap, hyperpop, glitch-hop, melodic trap, and underground chaos.

Twisted Collective & The Scene

As the founder of Twisted Collective, GoreSorrow is also helping build the culture around the music. From organising shows to supporting artists and pushing the AUS UDG scene, his work goes beyond his own releases.

He is part artist, part organiser, part producer, and part scene-builder. Someone trying to turn underground energy into real movement.

Why Now

GoreSorrow is not a brand-new artist pretending to have a story. He is six years deep, coming off a break, rebuilding with purpose, and improving rapidly.

The catalogue already has range.

The live shows are starting to grow.

The sound is becoming more distinct.

The vision is bigger than one song.

GoreSorrow is still evolving, but that is exactly what makes him worth listening to now. You are catching an artist in the middle of transformation. Experienced enough to have history, hungry enough to keep improving, and unpredictable enough to make the next release sound nothing like the last.
